A Natural Barber is owned and operated by Sherman York, and promotes the use of natural, chemical-free, local, and indigenous hair products. A Natural Barber is driven by a holistic view of wellbeing and our responsibility towards our environment. It stemmed from a strong connection to the whenua and a belief that it naturally provides what we need to look after ourselves. So, all products used are exactly that - natural and chemical-free. Preference is given to using what is produced from our immediate environment and Aotearoa is rich in rongoā rākau, so local and indigenous products are the go-to.
