We create taonga from bike waste destined for landfill. Our mau taringa (earrings) and necklaces are created with karakia and blessings for the receiver. They are a reminder of our collective responsibility to the whenua and moana. The past resourcefulness of our tūpuna, combined with our present issue of mass production and consumerism has led us on our journey to create taonga that supports a more sustainable future.
